James Allen Zachary Sr. of Lake Zurich Services for James Allen Zachary Sr., 73, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, at Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich. Interment will be in Lake Zurich Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home. Born March 31, 1933, in Jamestown, Tenn., he died Monday, Nov. 13, 2006, in Lake Zurich. James was an avid fisherman and gardener. He was the beloved husband of Georgia (nee Blair); loving father of Wayne Zachary, James (Maria) Zachary Jr., Gordon Zachary, Jeff Zachary and Raymond Zachary; cherished grandfather of 5; great-grandfather of 7; and dear son of the late Otha and Dorthy (Nee Slavin) Zachary.
