Margaret was the daughter of George Washington Sprinkle and Eliza Osbourne. She married William Stanley in 1886.

MARGARET STANLEY
Mrs. Margaret Stanley, 93,
Route 2, Penington Gap, died
Saturday, March 28.
She was a life long resident of
this community, and a member
of Union Christian Church.
Surviving are five sons, Tommy
G. and E. P. Stanley, both of
Pennington Gap, Jim Stanley,
Jonesville; John Stanley, Weber
City; and Will Stanley, Salem,
Ind.; two daughters, Mrs. Rosa
Kelly, Closeplint, Ky. and Mrs.
Mary Meredith, Duffield; three
half brothers, Green Sprinkle,
Pennington Gap, R. L Sprinkle,
Ben Hur; and Will Sprinkle,
Galax, Va; one sister, Lizzie
Sprinkle, Pennington Gap; 22
grandchldren and 38 great-
grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sun-
day afternoone at Union Christian
Church, with the Revs George
Wollett and Roy Blair officiating.
Burial followed in the family
cemetery. Sturgill Funeral HOme
in charge of arrangements.
