M. in the Trinka Funeral Home, 439 May wood Avenue. Mr. Sanford died Wednesday at his home. He was a stereotyper for the Elliott Mat Company of New York City for 43 years and was a member of the Stereotypers Union Local 1 of New York City. A native of Edgewater [sic], he had moved here from Jersey City 8 years ago. Surviving are his wife Grace; a daughter, Mrs. Eloise Margaret Reilly of Maywood; a son, George D. Sanford Jr. of New Milford; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Violet Blogett of Jersey City. Officiating at the funeral tomorrow morning will be the Rev. Gilbert H. Pfeiffer of the Zion Lutheran Church. Interment will be in Arlington Cemetery, Kearny. Friends may visit the funeral home today from 3 to 5 P. M. and from 7 to 9 P. M.
