CHESAPEAKE - The Rev. Theodore Roosevelt Music, 92, of Fairhaven Road, went to the Lord on May 31, 2011. A native of Auxier, Ky., he was the son of the late William and Laura Honeycutt Music. A distinguished disabled American veteran of the U.S. Navy, he was a retired minister and a member of Grassfield Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 59 years, Gladys Hayden Music. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen Music; three daughters, Linda Curling and her husband Ron and Betty Whitmore and her husband James, all of Chesapeake and Kera Music of Martinsville, Va.; three sons, Frank Allison Music and his wife Susan of Keysville, Va.; Theodore Michael Music and his wife Dana of Paintsville, Ky., and Derwitt Keith Music and his wife Joyce of Hampton; 19 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in Grassfield Baptist Church with the Rev. David Denny officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Park, Hampton, at 2:30 p.m. The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home, Chesapeake, Thursday from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
