Bernard Paul Leinmiller 78 of Joplin Passed away at 10;40 p.m. Thursday September 29, 2011 at Galena Nursing Center.

Born May 13, 1933 in Hays, Kansas. he was the son of the late Joseph and Catherine Miller Leinmiller and lived in Joplin most of his lifetime. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and a member of the V.F.W. HE was a member of St Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.
Amason and stoneworker all of his working life, he worked in the Joplin and pittsburg Kansas areas. ahae was a member of the International Union of Bricklayyers and Allied Craftworkers and served as former President of te local.

On october 23, 1957, he married Dorris Beardsley at Great Bend, Kan. She preceded him in death on May 21, 2011. A daughter, Deeanna Kay Leinmiller, also preceded him in death on June 27, 2010.

Additional survivor s include his children, Lisa Cleaveland and husband Mark of Joplin, Maika Hardison of Germany, Russ Leinmiller and companion Brenda, and Bill Cottrill and wife Brenda all of Joplin. a sister, Viola "Dolly" Polavices of Dayton, Oh; grandchildren, Christina Emmett and husband Dustin;and Todd Ritter and wife Heather. greatgrandchildren, Americus, Hunter, Logan and Anthony.

Funeral mass will be at 10;00a.m. Tuesday October 4 at St Peter the Apostle Catholic Church with Rev. Justin Monaghan, celebrant. Entombment will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Mausoleum with family serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Parker Mortuary Monday from 7;00-8;00p.m.
