He died at Meridian Nursing Home. He was the owner of Lenape Liquors, Brick, retiring in 1994. He was an Army veteran and a member of the Brick Elks. He was a communicant of the Church of the Visitation, Brick. He lived in Brick before moving to Toms River in 1997.

Surviving were his wife of 53 years, Mry Trzaka Cucci; two sons, Steven N. of Brick, and Gerard F. of Englewood, Fla.; two sisters, Lisetta IlVento of Lakewood and Gemma Truncellito of Saddle Brook; five grandchildren, Chris, Nick, Laura, Mary and Joe; and many nieces and nephews.
