Donald Lewis "The Old Man" Allen, 63 of Pipe Creek, Jacobsburg, Ohio died Friday, October 16, 2009 at Aspinwall Veterans Hospital in Pittsburgh.

He was born May 27, 1946 in Bellaire, Ohio, a son of the late Charles "Monk" Allen and Eileen Marie Bellville Allen.

He was a retired welder, a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, life member of the DAV in Bellaire.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca Alene Allen.

Surviving are a son, Johnny Ronald Allen of Tennessee;
a daughter, Stacey Jane (Michael) Harsher of Harrisville, Ohio;
companion, Sandy Wisor of Pipe Creek;
brother, Donald Allen of Pipe Creek;
grandchildren, Jennifer and Allison.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 12 Noon with Rev. Theresa Bobot officiating.

Burial follows in Powhatan Cemetery.

Military honors will be conducted by the Belmont County Council of VFWs at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
