He served in the Army and Oklahoma National Guard for 35 years, retiring
as a full colonel. He was employed at Gulfstream Air Craft in Bethany for
20 years, retiring as a safety manager. He was a substitute teacher and
little league coach.
He was a member of the Cashion Christian Church and Kingfisher Elks Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Margie of Cashion; one son, Craig Christy of
Cashion; one daughter, Theresa Homier and husband Danny of Kingfisher; two
sisters, Madeline Begg of Great Bend, Kan., and Melvina Christy of Kingfisher;
one brother, Teddy Christy of Bethany; four grandchildren; and two great-
grandchildren.
