COMMERS, Horace M., age 77 of Chattanooga died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2003. He was a native of Winchester and had lived in Chattanooga for the past 50 years. He was also a member of the Circle 8 Square Dance Club and a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. His son, Steve Commers, preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Lillis Commers; daughter, Tina Hughey-Commers of Lovingston, Va.; son Tim Commers of Chattanooga and five grandchildren. Service will be Friday, Sept. 26, 2003 at 11 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brian Burch officiating. Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Green Cemetery in Winchester. .
