Raleigh Hoskins
Raleigh Hoskins, 40, of Manchester, was born on February 12, 1960 and passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2000 in Manchester. He was the husband of Joy (Warren) Hoskins and the son of the late Lloyd and Nannie Hoskins. He believed in the Holiness faith and accepted Christ in 1981. Survivors include his wife, Joy Hoskins of Manchester; two sisters, Janie Hoskins and Vernice Sizemore and husband Lawrence, all of Manchester; three brothers, Cecil Hoskins and wife Jewell, Von Hoskins and wife Liddy Bell and Melvin Hoskins, all of Manchester; one half-brother, Gib Henson and wife Cleo, also of Manchester; and several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, April 29 at 2 p.m. at Billy's Branch House of Prayer at Gooserock with the Rev. Sill Lee and the Rev. Robert Patrick officiating. Burial followed in the Hoskins Family Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
