PARKERSBURG - Juliet Glancy, 88, of Parkersburg died Tuesday, June 10, 2003, following a brief illness.
She was born in Palestine, on April 23, 1915, the daughter of the late Clarence Rathbone and Mabel Casto Rathbone. She was a graduate of DeSales Heights Academy and a lifetime government employee, retired from the Department of the Treasury.
She is survived by her two sisters, Rosemary Park of Clearwater, Fla. and Virginia Hildreth of Hollywood, Fla.; her daughter, Carol Glancy Selario and her husband Daniel, of Vienna, Va. and two sons, James Glancy of Parkersburg, and Michael Glancy of Richmond, Va.; grandson Jeffrey Glancy of Richmond, Va.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward O. Glancy and her four sisters, Martha Rathbone, Catherine Allbright, Agnes Doman, and Margaret Rathbone; two brothers, Joseph Rathbone and infant brother Raymond Rathbone.
She was loved and will be dearly missed.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held 2 p.m. Friday, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 2500 Dudley Ave., Parkersburg. Private internment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. today at Hadley Funeral Home, 500 Fifth St., Marietta
