Henry F. Thomas was a son of Daniel Aldon Thomas and Dorothea Allen.

He married (1) Minnie Trunnel on February 25, 1906 in Saline County, Illinois, and had children. He married (2) 1938, Phoebe Annie Wells. No issue. He was a loving, kind and gentle man. After he died Phoebe Annie married James Payne and is buried in Paragould, Arkansas.

Henry Thomas Rites at Coulterville Sunday

Funeral Services for Henry Thomas, 72, former Harrisburg resident who died at his home in Coulterville Thursday evening, will be held Sunday at 2 p. m. at the Coulterville Methodist church. Burial will be in the Coulterville cemetery.

He is survived by his widow, Annie, whom he married in 1937, and the following children: Mrs. Flossie Windleman, Harrisburg, Mrs. Opal Younger, Pontiac, Mich., Mrs. Easter Jackson of California and two sons, Guy of Michigan and Franklin of Coulterville. He also leaves one sister, Mrs. Dave Craft of Cutler and three brothers, Guy of Wyoming, George and Walter of Coulterville and 12 grandchildren.

His first wife, Minnie, preceded him in death in 1932.
