Donald W. Yockey, 62, Leo, died Tuesday in Parkview Memorial HospitaI.

The Brazil, Ind., native retired as an Army chief warrant officer, having piloted helicopters during the Korean and Vietnam wars.

He was a member of Leo United Methodist Church, Leo Lodge 224 F & AM, Fort Wayne Valley Scottish Rite, Mizpah Shrine, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans, and National and Indiana Retired Officers associations. He also was former secretary of Fort Knox Lodge 919 F & AM, past commander of American Legion Post 409 and widower of Sally, who died in 1986.

Surviving are daughters, Julie K. Thune of Indianapolis and Melinda J. Conway of Marion; a brother, Henry G. of Evansville; and four grandchildren.

Services are 2 p.m. Saturday in D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, where calling is 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow, and 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Leo Cemetery.

Preferred memorials are gifts to the church's music fund.
