Funeral services were held for Bud Heither Friday morning, January 26 1968, in the St Joseph Catholic Church in Canton, with the Rev. Father Thomas Gray officiating. Music was furnished by Mrs. Thomas Brennan at the organ.

Pall bhears were Robert Orf, Bill Wellman, Joe Wheeler,Jerome Ellison, J.Patrick Wheeler, and Kenneth Collins. Honorary pall bearers were Ross Collins,Dave Bader,Gene Lloyd,B.J. Hardin,Robert Ayers and Fred Danker. Burial was in Forest Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Heither died at his home in Canton on Wednesday, January 24 1968 after an extended illness.

E.B. (Bud) Heither the son of Peter and Carolyn Hartwig Heither, was born at Canton on January 17 1890. He was united in marriage to Bertha Elizabeth Bergman in Canton on February 11,1914.

Mr. Heither operated a service station in Canton for twenty-five years. He was a member of the St Joseph Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, and the Eagles Lodge.

Survivors include his wife, a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and five sisters
