Hoyt Russell McCurry, age 70, of Danville, died Wednesday, December 28. He was a retired farmer and the son of the late Claude and Mary McCurry.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dovie McCurry, two sons, Thomas McCurry of Danville, and Russell McCurry who preceded his father in death, one daughter, Nila Wesner of Arizona, one brother, G. D. McCurry of Pine Bluff, one sister, Jewell Birkhead of California, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Friday at the Missionary Baptist Church in Danville by the Reverend John McElroy. Burial was in Earl Ladd Cemetery by Dixon Funeral Home. (WWW.YellCountyObits.org, Published in Yell County Record, Danville, Arkansas: 1/4/1984)
