She is survived by two daughters;
seven grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
She was a registered nurse who graduated from Aultman School of Nursing in Canton and finished her nursing degree at the University of Michigan. She spent most of her life caring for others through Home Health and Hospice. She was employed at the Garrett County Health Department for many years, as well as being a Hospice volunteer after her retirement.
She attended Diakon Mtn. Glade Adult Medical Day Care during the past few years, which along with help from the Hospice program allowed her to remain at home with her family. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Oakland, and remained active in the community as long as possible.
