DEWITT - William Roger Adams, 56, of DeWitt, died Thursday at his home. Burial Elmwood Cemetery, DeWitt. He was born Oct. 21, 1947, in Baltimore, Md., to William C. and Allejanice Losbaker Adams. He grew up in Grinnell. He married Debra Petersen on Oct. 25, 1975. They resided in Grinnell and Hopedale, Ill. They moved to DeWitt in 1987. He was a maintenance mechanic with Car Freshner in DeWitt for 10 years. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Billie Jo (Gus) Vanderbilt; two grandsons; his mother, Allejanice Adams of Grinnell; two brothers, Gary Adams of Caldwell, Idaho, and Gael Doane of Grinnell; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
