Phyline Romaine (Carmichael) Holler Adams, lovingly known to everyone as "Cracker," of Akron, OH, left this world on January 27, 2012, to be with the Savior she loved and served her whole life.

Born in Harrisburg, in 1916, she was the daughter of the late Rev. H.I. and Mary Alma Carmichael.

Phyline was married to Sommer T Holler Sr. for 35 wonderful years. He died in 1972. Well attending a family 4th of July Picnic in 1986 met her 2nd husband Robert Adams also a widower, and the Grandfather of Phyline's Granddaughter-in-law. They had 7 good years together.

Cracker lived most of her life in Akron and retired from Akron Public Schools, where she served as a middle school cook.

She was a member of First Evangelical Congregational Church and had a wonderful gift of hospitality. Phyline loved to open her home to pastors, missionaries, and conference delegates. She also served for many years as a cook at Camp E.C.C.O. in Carrollton, Ohio.

Cracker had 4 children,14 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, family and friends.
