Dorothy Fern Worrell Farris was one of the children born to William Landers Worrell and Elsie Fern Mengel.

Dorothy was united in marriage in 1927 to Marvin Bailey Farris, one of the children of Sidney Farris and Katie Lee Bailey. Dorothy and Marvin were blessed with the birth of three sons:
William Marvin Farris
Boyd Laverne Farris
Living Farris

Dorothy was equally blessed in that her sons gave her 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren at the time of her passing.
