John D. Foley , of 450 Gifford St., A native and Life resident of Syracuse, died Saturday night ( October 18th) in University Hospital following a long illness. He was a stationary engineer employed by the Solvay Process Company at the Jamesville Quarries, until his retirement 10 years ago. Mr. Foley was a communicant of St. Lucy's Church.
Surviving are three sons.
William, Frederick, and Robert Foley;
Two daughters: Mrs. Homer Wilson and Mrs. Arnold Avon;
Three sisters, Mrs. Mary McGraw. Miss Katherine
and Miss Alice Foley; and 5 grandchildren, all of Syracuse. Services will be at 8.45 a. m. tomorrow at the David R. Mooney
funeral home and at 9 a.m. at St. Lucy’s Church, Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Friends may call at 434 Gifford St. today from 2|to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m.
