Myrtle was born on March 20th, 1953 in Somerset, Kentucky, daughter of the late Minnie Owens Price and Newton Price. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Myrtle was survived by one son, Eugene (and Rachel) Rainwater of Somerset, Kentucky; two daughters, Nancy Rainwater of Somerset, Kentucky and Linda (and Bill) Barnett of Somerset, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Keri Miller, Brittney Miller, Ashley Miller, Jessica Yocum, Preston Rainwater, Mary Young, and Amanda Todd; five great grandchildren, Tremion Cowan, Kaylen Mayfield, Isabelle Yocum, Abigail Yocum, and Kendall Yocum; one brother, Charlie Price; two sisters, Madonna Sue Troxtle and Martha Hill; and a host of other family and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Minnie and Newton Price; and six siblings, Ruby Hill, Ralph Price, James Owens, Junior Owens, John Hill, and Helen Bolin.
Visitations were held on Monday, March 12th, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. at the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home in Somerset, Kentucky.
