E (Independent Gaurds) 26th N. Carolina on an unspecified date (probably on or about Sept. 29, 1862. Present or accounted for until captured at Hatcher's Run, VA on April 2, 1865. Confined at Point Lookout yankee prison, Maryland until released on June 12, 1865.
