OBITUARY: Paul Alfred Hemingway, 72, resident of 4210 Highway 25 North, in Hodges, husband of Michele Bailey Hemingway, died March 6, 2012, at Hospice House in Greenwood. Born in Norwich, CT, on January 1, 1940, he was a son of the late Ranol N. and Dorilla A. Trahan Hemingway. He was a graduate of Norwich Free Academy and retired as an accountant for Kendall Medical Products. A resident of the Greenwood area since 1961, Paul was a former Scout Leader of Troop No. 15, in Occum, CT, and Troop No. 336 in Greenwood. He was a member of Hodges United Methodist Church, a member of the Hodges Volunteer Fire Department and a former member of Greenwood Moose Lodge No. 834. Surviving, in addition to his wife of the home, are a brother, Ranol "Zoon" and wife Janet Hemingway of Connecticut, along with three stepchildren and two step-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Ernest Hemingway. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday from Hodges United Methodist Church, with Rev. R.T. Bowling, III officiating. Entombment will be in the Oakbrook Memorial Park Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be Colan Butler, Blair Willingham, David Ross, Butch Moore, Bob Bishop and Rex Voiselle. Honorary escort will be members of the Hodges Volunteer Fire Department along with Pete Godfrey, Rodney Jones, Calvin Hannah, David Jackson, Marion McDaniel, Jimmy R. Sweezy and Hobart Erickson.
