Guy Cochran, 47, Dies Monday, Rites Thursday
JUNCTION CITY (Spl.) Guy E. Cochran, 47, husband of Mrs. Juanita Rogers Cochran, of Danville, Route 3, died at 6: 15 p.m. Monday at Ephra-\im McDowell Memorial Hospital after an illness of about four years. A Boyle County native, he was born Dec. 20, 1924, and was a son of William Bennett Cochran of Dayton, Ohio, and the late Anna P. Grider Cochran. He was affiliated with the Methodist Church and had lived in the county all his life. A retired employee of Danville Construction Co., he was educated at the Parksville - school and was an army veteran of World War2. Additional survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Dale Walls of Junction City; three brothers, Davis and Robert C, both of Stanford and Arnold of Dayton, Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Dodd -Langford of Stanford and two grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home at Danville by the Rev. Donald Young. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery, Danville. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today. Nephews will serve "as pallbearers.
