AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Winston Hallie C. Shelton, 70, of Augusta, GA, passed away on March 21, 2012 at Trinity Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 3pm at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Road Chapel. Entombment will take place in Bellevue Memorial Gardens with full military honors. Born in Searcy, AR, he was the son of the late Elliott C. and Alma Davis Shelton. He lived in various cities before moving to Augusta in 1979. He retired from the Army after twenty five years of service to our country. He was a former owner of the Fish Bowl Lounge. Winston loved playing darts. He was an avid collector and animal lover. He was a very loving and intelligent person. He is survived by his wife, Gisela Kauth Shelton and his daughter, Sonja Story and her husband Jonathan. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the funeral home from 2pm until the hour of service.
