Elouise Black, 86, formerly of 412 S. Dodge S., died at the Hallmark Care Center in Mount Vernon this morning after a short illness. Graveside services will be Saturday at the Memory Gardens Cemetery. The George L. Gay Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Black was born July 22, 1894 in Johnson County, a daughter of Charles and Letitia Woolf Hedges.
She was married to William Black in 1938 in Iowa City. He preceded her in death in 1979.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Two brothers and one sister died earlier.
