WALTER HOWARTH DIES IN UTICA
Walter S. Howarth, veteran employee of the New York Telephone Company, and father of Gilbert E. Howarth of Syracuse, died Saturday night at his home in Utica.
He entered the employ of the telephone company 51 years ago as bookkeeper, rising to the position of assistant treasurer. Mr. Howarth retired 16 years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Louise Beltz Howarth, the son, and four grandchildren.
