Wright, Charles "Chuck", Sr., age 90 of Clive Ave., Moundsville, died Friday, November 9, 2007 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital. He was born June 27, 1917 in Marshall County the son of the late William and Bertha Wayt Wright. He was a retired employee from the B & O Railroad, with 33 years of service. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Cameron; Little Prince Lodge #79 Knights of Pythias, Moundsville; the American Legion Post #18, Cameron, for over 50 years and a US Navy veteran of WWII. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers: Clarence, Herbert, Eugene and Earl Wright; two sisters: Dorothy Chambers and Mae Williams and one daughter in law, Jean Cunningham Wright. Survivors include his wife, of 70 years, Lillian Howard Wright; three sons: Gary (Phyllis) Wright of Moundsville, Chuck (Cora Edith) Wright, Jr. of Sherrard and Larry (Gabriele) Wright of Flagler Beach, Fl; 11 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00-7:00pm at the Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00am with Rev. Walter E. McNutt officiating. Interment in Highland Cemetery, Cameron.
