ISAAC WALKER SHORT 1871-1952 Isaac W. Short, 81 Dies On March 20 Isaac Walker Short, 81 died at a local hospital on March 20 1952 at 9:00 p.m. after a month's illness. He was born at Meally, Kentucky on October 6, 1871, the son of Grainson and Mary Meade Short. At the time of his death he was a resident of Milo, Ky., where he had lived for the past eight years. A member of the Church of Christ his occupation was that of a contractor. He is survived by his wife, Ida Spencer Short, three daughters; Mrs.Bertha Deskins, Doniphan, Missouri, Mrs. Robert Neal, Gary, Indiana; and Mrs. Aeon Slone, Ironton, Ohio, and two sons; B.B. Short, Sitka, Kentucky, and H.S. Short, Fisty, Ky. Funeral services were held Sunday, March 23 at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Christ at Meally, Ky., by Revs. Herschel Short and W.L. Webb.
