Shirley L. Barnhart Crosley, 77, of Linton, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2012,in Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born on April 22, 1935 to Paul and Nellie Clark Barnhart.

She worked for Indiana Bell and was a waitress until her retirement.

Survivors include her 4 daughters, Susie (Jim) Walden, Betty Esteb, Paula Crosley, and Jenny (Nick) Ballinger and two sons Billy (Diana)Crosley and Paul Crosley, 19 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, one sister, Dorothy, and several neices and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Pauline and Betty, and two brothers Roland and James.

She enjoyed playing bingo, bowling, crocheting and a collector of owl figurines.

Shirley was a strong and loving woman with a big heart for her family and close friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, June 8, 2012 at 1 pm in the Mt. Zion General Baptist Church in Indianapolis, Indiana, with Rev. Micheal Stephens officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be obeserved from 12:00 pm until time of service at the church. Arrangements were made through the direction of the Conkle Funeral Home in Speedway.
