Katheryn E. Rolfes, age 82, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Allen Memorial Hospital.

She was born December 12, 1929 in Waterloo, the daughter of Lloyd and Verna E. Stafford. Katheryn married William G. Rolfes in 1957 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. He preceded her in death on June 25, 2007.

Katheryn was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting, reading the newspaper and spending time with her family.

Survivors include 2 sons, Richard "Rick" Rolfes and Joseph W. (Teresa) Rolfes all of Waterloo; a grandson, Nathan (Megan) Rolfes of Evansdale; 2 great grandchildren, Samone and Frankie Rolfes; 2 sisters, Esther Gann of Waterloo and Karen "Lee" Spear of Hollister, MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband William; 2 brothers, Bob and David.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2012 at the Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel in Waterloo with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home.
