Delbert Lindsay Rock Falls -
Delbert R. Lindsay,65, J and D Trailer Court, died Monday in Veteran's Hospital, Iowa City, Iowa.
He was born Nov. 16, 1897, at Sterling, the son of Delbert and Lottie Lindsay.
He was employed at International Harvester until his retirement in 1959.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Arlie (Myrtle) Landwair, Rock Falls, a step-son, Charles Lindsay, Sterling; three sisters, Mrs. Harriet Magnusen,Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. Ella Tarvill, Sterling, and Hazel; two brothers, James, Amboy and Edwin, Washington; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Wheelock-Allen
Funeral Home, with the Rev. Eldor Mueller, pastor of the Messiah Evangelical
Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may
call after 2 p.m. today in the funeral home.
