Surviving are her children and their spouses, Clare Clinton “Skip” and Mariworth Anderson of Midland; Keith Anderson and his special friend, Tracey Blasdell of Essexville; and Craig and Saralee Anderson of Midland; ten grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister-in-law, Nancy Kravko and her husband Richard of Georgia. Besides her parents and her husband, Barbara was predeceased by her daughter, Susan Anderson, one brother, Wallace Buswell and her sister, Ardith Hollander.
Cremation has taken place and a service to honor her life will take place 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2016, from the First Baptist Church, 915 E. Sugnet Road Midland. Reverend Lara Heise will officiate. Barbara’s family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the service. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider The First Baptist Church or Barbara’s family in care of her son, Keith Anderson, 2363 Weadock Highway Essexville, MI 48732. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Directors, 1200 West Wheeler St. Midland, MI 48640.
