Rev. Ross Fryer, 88, passed away July 4, 2012, while visiting his sister, Jean Fryer Leggett. Interment was in Eclictic, Ala., with family and close friends.
Ross was a graduate of WHS, class of '42, Texas A&M, and S.W. Baptist Seminary. He served as a Missionary in Indonesia for 30 years. After retirement, he served as Asst. Pastor at Beverly Hills Baptist, and Pastor at Connally Baptist. He also volunteered at Hillcrest Bapt. Hospital and was a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church, Waco, before he and his wife moved to Alabama. Later, he moved to Nashville.
Survivors are Gretchen Kindrick of Eclictic, Ala., Stephen Fryer of Nashville, Tenn., and Jean Fryer Leggett of Waco.
