Mary Frances McNamara, 71, passed away August 8, 2012 at her home in Joplin, Missouri with family by her side.

Mary was born December 31, 1940 in Carthage, Missouri to Leola and Henry Lasiter.

Mary was a member of the Sacred Heart Alter Society, Eastern Star, American Legion Auxiliary, and local bingo halls.

Mary was united in marriage to John Thomas McNamara on August 25, 1956. He preceded her in death.

Other survivors includes four sons, two daughters; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John, five brothers and sisters Joan Lasiter, Betty Lou Swafford, Lucille Magdaleno, Delila Carpenter, and GloriAnn Stark, and a granddaughter Amy Renee McNamara.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 10, 2012 at the Ulmer Funeral Home Chapel Carthage, Missouri. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Ulmer Funeral Home Chapel.
