Born at family plantation, "Redwood" in Culpeper, VA. Father was George Morton Williams, mother, Gertrude Somerville Long. Married to Hon. Henry St. George Tucker, Wednesday, at 4:00, June 26, 1929, at "Redwood" in the garden by the lilac bush. There were no children by this marriage. Mary Jane Williams was the 3rd wife of Henry St. George Tucker. There were six children by his first wife, Henrietta Johnston. His second wife was Martha Sharpe.

Information recently received by me from Richard H.L. Chichester III, gives conflicting dates for her birth year, which may be off by as much as one to two years. The date on her stone may not be correct. Death certificate and census reports conflict. This needs further research.
