Mrs. Gladys Iona Cromer age 75, of Mt.Vernon died Wednesday August 29, 2012 at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital. She was born on June 30, 1937 in Sterns, KY the daughter of the late Matthew and Alma Smith Coffey. She was a retired press operator for the Rockcastle Mfg. Company, enjoyed gardening, cooking, spending time with her family, and was a member of the Blue Springs Church of Christ.
Survivors are: three sons; Morris, Ralph, and Randy Cromer all of Mt.Vernon. One sister; Mrs. Mary Konwerski of Tecumseh, OK. Four grandchildren, and one great grandchild also survives. Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by: her husband; Orville Cromer, and by one brother; Truesdale Coffey.
