"A. M. SOCKWELL DEAD"
"A. M. Sockwell, a resident of Biloxi for the past five years, where he came from Gulfport, died this morning at 6:15 o'clock, following an illness lasting several weeks. Pneumonia was the cause of his death. Mr. Sockwell was in the employ of the L. B. Price Mercantile Co., of New Orleans, and worked the Mississippi Coast in the sale of his goods. He leaves a wife and three daughters, a mother and several sisters and brothers. During the time he has resided in Bilxoi he has made a number of friends who will regret to learn of his death. The remains, accompanied by the family and other relatives, will be taken to Gulfport tomorrow afternoon, leaving the home (at) 227 Couevas street at 2:30 o'clock and interment will be made in the Evergreen cemetery at that city. Mr. Sockwell was a native of Kosciusko, Mississippi, 42 years of age and had been a resident of the Mississippi Coast for a number of years."
