MARY ELIZABETH (DRURY) CUMMINS

Mary Elizabeth Cummins, 70, of 217 E. Broadway, Harrodsburg, died on Saturday, April 24, at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.
Mary was born, August 3, 1911, in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Her parents were James Everett and Fannie (Mann) Drury. She had one brother, Clarence Willis "C.W." Drury and one sister, Ethel Claudine "Dean" (Drury) Mullaney.
Mary married Milton Lewis "Pete" Cummins in March 1937. They were the parents of four sons, Ernest Sylvester "Penny" Cummins, Melvin Lewis Cummins, Roger Dale Cummins, and James "Jim" Harrison Cummins. Mary was a retired seamstress and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Funeral service was on Tuesday, April 27, at the Randell Funeral Chapel in Harrodsburg with the Rev. Lester Caldwell officiating. Burial followed at Spring Hill Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Milton L. Cummins; four sons, Ernest S. of Elizabethtown, Melvin L. of Harrodsburg, Roger Dale of Wauseon, Ohio, and James H. Cummins of Mitchellsburg; a brother, C.W. Drury of Brightwood, Calif., and a sister. Claudene Mullaney of Jacksonville, Fla..
Funeral will be at 2 pm Tuesday at Randell Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Lester Caldwell officiating.
Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery
Visitation is at the funeral home.
