Thelma spent most of her adult life living and working at the A & P Store in Harlan, KY and Mt. Clemens, MI until she and her husband (Carlos Boggs) who preceded her in death, retired and returned to Irvine, Kentucky where she was an active member of the First Baptist Church and an avid Kentucky basketball fan.
Thelma is survived by her son, Carlos, his wife Betty and grandson, Jared; daughter, Patricia and grandson, Nicholas; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside memorial service will be held at West Irvine Cemetery in Irvine on October 13th, 2012 at 11am.
