Gerald William Jackson age 73, of Edneyville, NC passed away on September 13th 2012 at his home. Gerald served in the National Guard, worked for Young Blood Truck Line, Sears and Robuck, the apple orchards, and owned Jackson Satellite and TV. He was the son of the late Glenn and Louise Merrill Jackson. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 51 years Deitra Jackson; Daughter Sandra Fisher (Tommy Davis) of Asheville, NC; Daughter Tina Rhodes (Scott) of Hendersonville, NC; Daughter Anita Burnette (Kevin) of Weaverville, NC; Daughter Rhonda Morrison (Michael) of Rutherfordton; Sister Mildred Reed of Edneyville; Brother Lawrance Jackson of Edneyville; Grandchildren Jeremy Fisher, Makayla Martin, Chance Burnette, Dylan Martin, Mollie Martin, John Morrison. A number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his Brother Howard Jackson, Sister Margie Hill, and Grandson Thomas Martin Jr. Memorial services will be held on Monday September the 24th, at Mountain Home Baptist Church Cemetery.
