Esther I. Brierly, nee Todd, 89, of Belleville, Ill., born June 17, 1920, in Bracken County, Ky., died Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009, at Calvin Johnson Care Center, Belleville, Ill.
Mrs. Brierly was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur B. Brierly; a son, Fredrick Meyer; a daughter, Mary Bruin; and her parents, John and Celeste Todd.
Surviving are a daughter, Clara Bishop of Falmouth, Ky.; a son, David (Nina) Brierly of O'Fallon, Ill.; two granddaughters, Cathy Lippert of Swansea, Ill., and Sandy Barnard of Belleville, Ill.; and great-grandchildren.
