Frank Ira Hess, age 74 of Piney Flats, entered into rest on Monday, October 1, 2012 at Brookhaven Nursing home.
Mr. Hess was a Monroe, Michigan native, and the son of the late Charles and Maxine Hess.
He was had worked for Ford Motor Company in the tool and dye department. Mr. Hess proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters: Betty and Marge.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Stinnett Hess; son, Charles Hess; step-son, Alan Nave; step daughters: Teresa and Wendy; brothers: John, George, Jim and Joe; sisters: Nance, Marlene, Charlene and Carolyn; step-grandson, Brandon Nave along with other step-grandchildren.
A Military Graveside Service for Mr. Hess will be conducted on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Mountain Home National Cemetery. Everyone is asked to assemble at the cemetery by 1:50 p.m. for the service.
