Dewey Michael Jude, age 37, of Pilgrim, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2012, at his home.

Born June 15, 1975, in Louisa, he was the son of Dewey and Rhodene Fletcher Jude of Pilgrim.

He is preceded in death by his grandpa's, Warren G. Jude and Charley Fletcher, his grandma, Annie Jude, and his step-grandma, Sally Jude.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife, Tammy Maynard Jude, one son, Jessie Dewey Jude of Pilgrim, one daughter, Ashley McKayla Jude of Pilgrim, one sister, Bonnie Melissa and Cecil Maynard and her children, Blake and Kelli Maynard all of Pilgrim, his grandmother, Annie Fletcher of Pilgrim, and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, October 29, 2012, at the Buck Branch Church, with Buddy Stacy and Dabo Stacy officiating. Burial will follow in the Maynard Cemetery at Pilgrim.

Friends may visit the church after 4 p.m. Friday, all day Saturday and Sunday.

Arrangements are by the Phelps & Son Funeral Home, Inez.
