I've recently been involved in a genelogical search after my mom's passing. Most of my ancestors include SWICEGOOD< YOUNG< BECK> MY great_grandmother: Mary Young Howard, her father ; Lewis Franklin Young, his father;Philip Young; son of Barnett "Barney" Young and Minerva Swicegood; daughter of John Adam Swicegood and Mary Catherine Beck Swicegood. Both sides of my family(father and mother"s are originally from Davidson/Rowan, North Carolina..for whatever reason they moved to FLorida before I was born and lived here until their deaths. I've been searching family or anyone who knew them..my grandma was HAZEL HOWARD BINKLEY; daughter of Mary Young Howard and Thomas Vestal Howard. Thia site is wonderful and I hope to find my other loved ones resting places and hopefully visit North Carolina soon.
