I have been interested in family history and genealogy for years but had put it on the back burner for many years until a recent birth in the family has sparked the interest again. I am about to go back to school to study History in the fall and would like to do this type of work. This decision was made after going back and forth between History and Education for close to eight years and decided to do History as it something I am truly interested in. Anyone with expertise can give me advice if they like.

I would like to thank my wonderful grandfather for getting me started on this journey. If it wasn't for his knowledge of his family I wouldn't be putting this up here. Also, I would like to thank my aunt for getting me back into this and giving me all the knowledge she knows of our family and my great-grandmother for keeping a log of her family.
