I began compiling my family tree in 2009, with the help of my mentor and friend, the very prolific genealogist, Patricia Zeis. My parents moved my brother and me from Chicago to Central Florida when I was 5, and I knew only a very few of my relatives. My 2 grandmothers were alive, but very rarely ever talked about family. My father was from the Sparta, Greece/Chicago Andreakos family, and the Kovno, Lithuania/Russia/Chicago Vogels. My mother was from the Oslo, Norway/Chicago Olson clan, the Gloucestershire, England/Grand Rapids, Michigan Fishers, and the German/ Chicago Stoltes, and from the Teggiano, Italy/New York Gangone/Angona family. These groups are my primary interest, as are my never-ending quests to locate photos of my Greek grandfather, Nicolaos George Andreakos, and my Italian great grandparents, Angelo Gangone/Angona and Theresa Elizabeth Morena Angona, as well as finding what happened to my great x2 grandmother, Elizabeth "Bessie" Fisher Olson, after her divorce from Peter J Olson.
