Born and grew up in Toledo, Oregon. My paternal grandparents sailed from Maine, around the horn, to San Francisco. About ten years later they traveled by wagon train to the area of Castle Rock, Washington, where my father was born. My Mother was born in Colorado. My wife grew up near Watertown, NY. Her paternal grandfather was born in Canada. The generations on her mother's side were from the Adirondack mountain area.
