My name is Oralia Carrasco-Page born December 2, 1960 in Mercedes, Texas. I was born and raised in Mercedes, Texas. My earthly parents were Cayetano Carrasco and Guadalupe Garcia-Carrasco both from Mercedes, Texas located in South Texas.
I am here to seek and research my Family History! My mother and her siblings were very young when their parents passed away leaving my mother orphaned at 5yrs old when her father passed and 7yrs old when her mother passed. My mother and her siblings were tossed around from aunt to aunt as children. Because of this, she remembers nothing in regards to her parents. And that is why I am determined to find and put together her parent's story which I believe we deserve to know everything we can about our Maternal Grandparents! My maternal grandparents were Marcelo Garcia and Anita Moreno-Garcia. They were both born and raised in South Texas as well. My mother was born in a ranch which was called at that time "San Nicholas Ranch" which was located somwhere between Raymondville and Mercedes Texas.
