My interest in findagrave started with my desire to register a secluded family cemetery and to preserve the memories of my grandparents. I posted the info about the cemetery on my FB page before registering it and magically, someone who saw my post registered the cemetery and graves in it.
As I visit cemeteries, I mostly take pictures of the graves of family members and friends, but sometimes I take pictures of other graves and add them to existing memorials. Occasionally I start memorials and add pictures for individuals who don't have one.
People are born and then they die, but before they pass away, they laugh and cry and work and play. They leave their footprints on the earth and in the hearts of those who knew knew them. Each individual deserves to be remembered.
I hope that the pictures I upload to findagrave bring special memories to those who see them. Although life on this earth may end, memories can be passed from generation to generation. There is also the promise in God's word. "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new." Rev 21:4-5
Blessings to you.
